tank containers
description
The invention relates to a tank container with a arranged between two front side, each having a rectangular Stim frame frame structures arranged tank with a tank body, which has a filling opening and an emptying device, each frame structure has a Stim frame of cross members and Eckträgem.
Tank containers are usually used for transporting various chemical products, in particular for transporting heavy liquids. Usual tank containers have a cylindrical, horizontally arranged tank with frontal, domed bottoms. The outer container dimensions are determined by rectangular frame with corner fittings. The tank is connected in the region of its front ends with the two Stim frame via so-called saddle structures. Such a constructed tank container is known for example from DE 3212669 Al. Another tank container with a tank and the tank on voice frame receiving framework is known from DE 20 2006 008 574 Ul. The Stim frame are connected to each other in the lower area via a longitudinal frame structure having two lateral side members, which are additionally connected at their end regions via a side diagonal and a floor diagonal in addition to the front frame.
The invention is based on the object to provide a tank container available, which may have a higher capacity and a higher permissible total weight than the known tank container. The tank container should be designed and constructed with high stability such that it has a low relative to its gross weight and its own weight and can be emptied comfortably and easily.
The object is achieved according to the invention in that the end frame enclosing end walls to which the tank body is welded, which is designed double conical in its longitudinal extent, with its cross-sectional area, starting from its center, continuously reduced to the end walls, and starting from the lower ends of the corner carrier longitudinal beams horizontally and parallel to each other in the direction of the center of the tank and ending in front of this, with which the tank body is connected by means of support wings.
In an inventively designed tank container, therefore, the front frame structures are not connected to each other by means of longitudinal members but via the tank body. The tank body is connected via the support wings with the longitudinal members and supported on these in a stable manner. After the tank container according to the invention no side members are required, the tank body can be executed doppelkonisch and with its lowest point in the region of its center and emptied on its underside in the region of its center. These measures make it possible to give the tank a large Aufhahmevo lumen. The structural design of the tank container allows an execution with a relatively low weight and a high gross vehicle weight.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, each support wing is welded to a longitudinal beam and to the underside of the tank body. In this way, the support wings can be arranged very stable and are able to optimally support the tank body on the longitudinal beams ..
According to the invention, the length of the longitudinal beams, determined from the inner edge of the front frame, amounts to 15% to 25% of the length of the tank container. According to the preferred embodiment, the support wings are connected over the length of the longitudinal members with these. The supporting wings are in particular concavely curved flat metal parts, with longitudinal edges, one of which is welded to the longitudinal member and the other in each case laterally in the region of the underside of the tank body. The longitudinal edges have a substantially equal longitudinal extent, the side edges between these longitudinal edges are slightly curved arc curved towards the tank center. Advantageously, thereby the welds of the support wings are offset on the tank body with respect to their welds on the longitudinal members towards the center of the tank, whereby the tank body is supported in a particularly stable manner on the Längsträgem.
For optimal load distribution of the tank body itself is designed with respect to both a transverse to its longitudinal extent and vertically extending center plane and with respect to a further, in its longitudinal extent vertically extending center plane mirror-symmetrical.
The already mentioned special double conical shape of the tank body is achieved by a special embodiment with a number of sections. Thus, the tank body according to the invention, a flat, horizontal and extending over its longitudinal extent roof section with a width of preferably 40 cm to 50 cm. The tank body therefore has a comfortably accessible and also provided with the filling opening roof section.
Also particularly preferred is an embodiment of the tank body, wherein the roof portion merges into two mutated shoulder portions, which extend with constant rounding over the longitudinal extension of the tank body. The double conical design of the tank body is particularly due to the adjoining the shoulder sections side wall sections. These side wall sections extend vertically, extend over the length of the tank body, their vertical extension or height decreases continuously, starting from the central plane or from the area around the center plane of the tank body to the end walls.
The tank body embodied according to the invention then has on the two side wall sections a generally bulged running bottom section, in particular a semicircular cross-section, the roundness of which is constant or essentially constant over the longitudinal extension of the tank body.
The special design of the tank body allows a configuration in which located in the middle of the lowest point of the Tankköpers is at the level of the side members, in particular at the level of the undersides of the side members. As a result, the tank body can be given a particularly high receiving volume.
The emptying device is according to the invention in the region of the lowest point of the tank body and has two closable and openable, substantially horizontally and transversely to the longitudinal extension of the tank body extending emptying tubes, of which one from one side of the tank body and the other from the other side the tank body is accessible.
To increase the stability of the tank body this can also be provided with a number of stiffening rings.
Further features, advantages and details of the invention will now be described with reference to the drawing, which illustrates an embodiment of the invention.

In the following description, position information such as vertical, horizontal, top, bottom, and the like refer to the standing tank containers shown in the figures. The components of the tank container consist in particular of steel, for example, also made of stainless steel, or aluminum. Some components of one material may be made of another material.
The basic structure of the tank container will now be explained in more detail with reference to Figures 1 to 5. The main components of the tank container are a tank 1 having a doppelkonisch designed tank body 1 and a tank 1 supporting metallic structure 2. The construction 2 has two each end face arranged frame structures 3, which are interconnected only via the tank 1. Each frame structure 3 has a rectangular Stim frame 4 of an upper and a lower, horizontally extending cross member 4a and two vertically extending Eckträgem 4b. The ends of the upper cross member 4a are connected to the upper ends of the corner girders 4b via upper corner fittings 4c. The lower cross member 4a connects the two corner girders 4b just above the lower ends thereof. At the lower ends of the corner support 4b lower corner fittings 4c are arranged. On the inner sides of the frame structures 3 each have an end wall 5 is welded, which limits the tank 1 at both ends and simultaneously closes the front side, since the tank 1 is welded to the end walls 5. Each stim frame 4 is further reinforced on the outside with a number of lattice-like carriers 6, 6 ', wherein the carrier 6 parallel to the Eckträgem 4b and the support 6' parallel to the cross members 4a extend. Of the two lower corner fittings 4c of the frame structure 3, short side members 7 extend at a right angle to the frame structure 3 in the direction of the tank container center. A transversely extending connection carrier 7b (Figure 5) connects the free ends of the side rail pairs. The respective horizontal and mutually parallel side members 7 have a length 1, which is determined by the inner edge of the corner girder 4b, which amounts to 15% to 25% of the length L of the tank container. If, therefore, the tank container is a 30 ft container, the length 1 of the side members 7 is, for example, approximately 1.80 m.
The lower corner fittings 4c arranged at the lower corners of the front frames 4 as well as further fittings 8 arranged on the underside of the free ends of the side members 7 allow positioning of the tank container on container journals of a wagon frame of a container wagon. The fittings 4c, 8 and the container pin and their mutual arrangement are standardized according to ISO.
Four, in each case in pairs concavely curved, flat supporting wings 9, which are welded with their longitudinal sides respectively on the tank body bottom and on one of the side members 7, in particular over the entire length thereof, connect the tank 1 with the longitudinal members 7 and support it so the frame structures 3 from. For example, as shown in FIG. 1, the support wings 9 are provided with side edges 9a, extending slightly arcuate curved extending towards the center of the tank, so that the weld of the support wings 9 is offset on the tank body bottom with respect to the weld of the support wings 9 on the longitudinal members 7 something to the tank center. The welded on the underside of the tank longitudinal edges of the support wings 9 extend slightly inclined to the center of the tank body and so according to the also inclined course of a bottom portion lOd of the tank body 10th
If the tank body 10 is bisected transversely to its longitudinal extension in its middle, the two halves of the tank body 10 to the center plane, which is imaged in Fig. 1 by the line Mi-Mi, substantially mirror-symmetrical to each other and therefore executed the same. Also with respect to a second in the longitudinal direction of the tank body 10 extending center plane M2-M2 (Fig. 2), the tank body 10 is designed mirror-symmetrically. In the region of the first center plane M1-M1, the tank body 10 has its largest cross-sectional area. In this case, the tank body 10 may have a constant cross-sectional area over a central longitudinal section of up to 15% of the tank body length. Starting from the central longitudinal section or the first center plane Mi-Mi, the cross-sectional area of the tank body 10 to the end walls 5, which close the tank body 10 at the end, continuously lower.
The tank body 10 has a flat, horizontal and over its length continuously extending roof portion 10a with a width b of in particular 40 cm to 50 cm. The roof section 10a merges into closed-wall sections 10b, which are connected in cross-section, for example along quarter-circle arcs and also extend over the length of the tank body 10, into side wall sections 10c. The height extent h of the vertically oriented side wall portions 10c decreases continuously from the median plane Mi-Mi to the end walls 5. At the side wall portions 10c includes the already mentioned, this connecting, generally bulbous rounded bottom portion lOd. The bottom portion 10d is rounded in cross-section, for example substantially or approximately semicircular, wherein the rounding over the longitudinal extent of the tank body 10 is substantially constant. Since the bottom portion 10d immediately adjoins the side wall portions 10c, the distance of the bottom portion 10d from the roof portion 10a is continuously reduced over the longitudinal extent of the two halves of the tank body 10. In the central longitudinal section or on the median plane Mi-Mi, the bottom section 10d extends to the level of the longitudinal members 7, in particular down to the level of the lower edges of the longitudinal members 7.
A number of substantially equally spaced stiffening rings 11 surrounds the tank body 10. In the embodiment shown, the tank body 10 a total of eight Versteifüngsringe 11. The spaces between the stability reasons provided for stiffening rings 11 can be filled with insulation material.
The tank body 10, the support members 9, and the stiffening rings 11 are made, as well as the frame structures 3 comprehensive construction 2, of a metallic material whose strength and design is tuned to the respective acting loads.
In the roof portion 10a of the tank body 10 is centrally a closable with a lid 12 opening for filling the tank container. The lid 12 may, as shown in Fig. 6, be firmly closed with a number of screw caps 13. On the one side of the lid 12 is located in the roof portion 10 a known venting device 14, on the other side of the lid 12, a safety valve 15. About the venting device 14 takes place when filling the tank 1, the required ventilation, the safety valve 15 is a pressure reduction if necessary from the inside of the tank safely. A grate 16 fastened in this area to the roof section 10a permits entry of the roof section 10a for actuating and servicing the parts arranged here.
The emptying of the tank 1 is carried out from the underside in the region of its center by means of an emptying device 17. The emptying device 17 is therefore in the region of the lowest point of the tank body 10. As shown particularly in Fig. 7 shows the emptying device 17, a frame 17a and a Armature 18 with a main ball valve, which can be opened and closed by the two sides of the tank container by means of an actuating lever 19. The armature 18 is connected via a branch pipe with two emptying tubes 20 extending transversely to the longitudinal extent of the tank body 10, which at their ends each have a further armature 21, each with a ball valve. Further operating levers 22 allow opening and closing of these ball valves. The arrangement of the emptying device 17 on the underside of the tank body 10 is such that the one actuating lever 19, 22 is accessible from one side of the tank body 10, the other each from the other side of the tank body 10. Fig. 7 also shows lateral, solid longitudinal members 23 of the carriage frame and arranged between these longitudinal beams 23 central discharge opening 24. Such a carriage frame for a container wagon is known for example from EP 2,837,542 Al.
Tank containers constructed in accordance with the invention are outstandingly suitable for the transport of heavy liquids. Due to its special design, the tank can easily be designed for a capacity of approximately 45 m3 and the tank container for a maximum permissible total weight of 76 t with a dead weight of the order of 6 t. The tank container is preferably designed such that its height H (Figure 2), which corresponds to the maximum distance between the upper and lower corner fittings 4c, is approximately 2.90 m and its width B (Figure 2) is approximately 2.55 m , Fig. 8 shows two container wagons with positioned tank containers. At the container car, the tank container is supported by the eight fittings, in the longitudinal direction of the container is additionally secured by longitudinal stops, which are not shown.
